PI-ICZMNET: Development of a network of consulting institutions and companies to support ICZM

BEAD: Baltic environment for aquaculture development

The Baltic, almost completely wedged in the European continent, constitutes one of the bigger brackish water systems of the world with an extreme variability of the hydrological and physico-chemical conditions. These very particular characteristics explain the great vulnerability of the marine ecosystem of the Baltic, in which any environment disturbance due to the human activities can have serious prejudicial. -> more
